DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP REGIONAL STORM WATER

SPECIAL DISTRICT BOARD MEETING

October 26, 2005

  CALL TO ORDER:

 President Susan Berger called the meeting to order at 12:20 P.M. 

 ATTENDANCE:

Those present at the meeting were:

Board Members:          Susan Berger and Jeff Thomas

            CDM:                          Jamie Coleman and Chris Brausch

 Pre-SWAC Meeting:

This Special Meeting was a work session to review and approve the proposed materials to be presented at the fourth SWAC meeting to be held on September 27, 2005, by CDM.

 The Board reviewed the draft of the power point presentation. The focus of the fourth meeting is to get recommendations from the SWAC to be presented to the District Board. Their agenda is as follows:

1) answering questions and discussing issues raised at the third meeting

2) recapping the level of service options

3) going over committee recommendations

CDM presented slides supporting these agenda items. Ms. Berger and Mr. Thomas suggested no changes to the presentation.

 A discussion ensued about whether the recommendations should be presented to just the District Board or also to the Deerfield Township Trustees. Ms. Berger and Mr. Thomas felt that the formal presentation should be made to the District Board and that the District Board would notify the Township Trustees through their administrator, Dan Evers.

 Adjournment:

Jeff Thomas made a motion, seconded by Susan Berger, to adjourn the meeting at

1:20 P.M. Vote:  All yes.

 Next Regular Meeting: November 8, 2005.
