The Deerfield Regional Storm Water District (DRSWD) was created by the Deerfield Township Trustees in 2003 to address storm water issues within Deerfield Township. These issues include water quantity problems, such as flooding and stream bed erosion, and water quality issues, such as pollution, sedimentation, and illicit discharges. A three-member Board of Trustees oversees and implements Deerfield Township’s Storm Water Management Plan. This plan addresses storm water quality in accordance with EPA regulations. The Board is also responsible for implementing capital improvement projects to address water quantity issues. The Board holds regular meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Members of the public are welcome. Meeting agendas will be posted a few days before each meeting.
